Clarke Buehling + Tom Marion

Join Kalabash instructor Clinton Davis and friends for the 6th concert of our bi-monthly concert series of American Folk Music!

Clarke Buehling + Tom Marion

Clarke Buehling is widely recognized for his interpretations of late 19th Century, classic finger-style banjo, and is in the forefront of the recent resurgence of interest in the earlier minstrel banjo style.  Much of his material is based around his extensive collection of 19th Century banjo and mandolin instruction books and sheet music.

Clinton Davis is a multi-instrumentalist from Kentucky who can play anything you put in his hands: guitar, banjo, fiddle, piano, harmonica. With his wide palette of instruments and sounds, he performs old time songs, ballads, and dance music from the early 20th century Appalachian Mountains, Deep South, and Western frontiers.
