voice | CELLO

Rebecca Zimmer Huber gave her first vocal performance at the age of ten with her brothers and sisters as the Musical Zimmer Family, in Central California. Her musical education began with her mother teaching piano and father teaching voice to all six children. Each child chose a second instrument and for Rebecca, it was cello. After singing in numerous studio bands in the Los Angeles area, including working as an entertainer on Norwegian Cruise Lines, she began focusing more on writing and working with professional voices as a voice therapist, obtaining her Master's Degree in speech language pathology.

Rebecca was a featured vocalist in Buck Shaffer's Fabulous Studio Band, entertainer at Marriott's Great America, runner-up to Miss California as a vocalist, sang with the La Jolla Renaissance Singers, Temecula Master Chorale, and is currently a member of the school of Cantors-San Diego. She currently plays cello in the Prado Orchestra Pit for San Diego Junior Theatre, the contemporary group, Mary's Manhattans and her string quartet Belo Som.
