This summer Kalabash will be hosting it’s first bookbinding workshop! This 2hr workshop will cover the coptic stitch bookbinding technique, a beginner technique that will introduce newcomers the art of book binding! 

Students will make their own 80p coptic stitch notebook to take home. Students will create their own hardback covers, prepare inner pages and practice the stitching technique. This class will focus on craftsmanship and design. 

All materials will be provided, but students are welcome to bring their own if preferred:

• -Ruler

• -Exacto knive

• -Awl

• -Decorative paper

• -Cardstock

• -Sketch paper

• -Letters

This class is best suited for adults, but open to teens as well.
