Clinton Davis and Friends - American Roots Concert

Join Kalabash instructor Clinton Davis and friends for a very special American Roots concert on Friday, February 12th. In celebration/recognition of the beloved/dreaded Valentine's Day holiday Clinton will be leading an evening of classic American roots music dwelling on love, its absence, and its opposite.

Joining him will be an all-star lineup of San Diego musicians including fellow Kalabash instructors Meghann Welsh (G Burns Jug Band) and Chad Farran (Western Collective), legendary jazz vocalist Miss Erika Davies, and Tim McNalley (Second Cousins). Together they'll put on an intimate show spanning Victorian ballads of old England on the banjo, vaudeville blues laments and songs about honkey-tonk angels on the piano, bluegrass breakups on the mandolin, and dreamy melodies from Tin Pan Alley's finest composers on the guitar.

Grab a friend, grab someone you're sweet on, grab a bottle of wine, get cozy and enjoy some authentic, down-home music from some of our very own!

Friday, February 12th at 7:30pm | Doors open at 7:00pm
