We are excited to announce our Spring Open Mic on March 8th from 6:30-8pm. We’re trying something a little different this year and adding a theme to our Open Mic. Inspired by our handmade production of Yellow Submarine, our Open Mic theme will be THE SIXTIES!

Create anything with this theme in mind. It can be a song, a poem, a haiku, or a miniature sculpture of a volcano that you carved from an ice cube! Go crazy + have fun and share with the club over pizza!

Kalabash invites you to take a trip down south for an evening of Roots-Rock, Swamp-Boogie, and Juke Joint Ballads with Clinton Patterson that's sure to start the weekend right.
Raised in Atlanta, Clinton Patterson grew up with blues, southern soul, and spiritual music. It's these southern sounds that he combines with the music he found in the melting pot that is Los Angeles. His music is a mash-up of the soul of The South and the rhythm of LA. Clinton has played and written songs for projects with The RZA, Ghostface, Sesame Street, Grand Theft Auto, and ESPN.

Zimbeat: Randall Griswold and Garit Imhoff Enjoy the hypnotic interlocking melodies and spirited rhythms in the captivating and compelling traditional music of Africa. Zimbeat will perform the dynamic village music of Zimbabwe--music that is based on the Shona peoples' traditional instrument, the mbira dzavadzimu.
